Harry Potter film series grosses

According to my movie theater, the tickets cost 8.75 each.  So I took that number and times it by the amount of tickets sold during their theatrical run in the U.S. and Canada (Domestic).  Here is the order and how much the Harry Potter films made in now-a-days money (adjusted):

1. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (2001)- $490.2 Million
2. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 (2011)- $421.8 Million
3. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (2005)- $395.5 Million
4. Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (2002)- $393.8 Million
5. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (2007)- $372.4 Million
6. Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (2009)- $354.4 Million
7. Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004)- $352.2 Million
8. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 (2010)- $324.3 Million

Two of the Harry Potter films made well over $400 million (the first and the last films) and two of the middle films almost made it there.
All 8 films made well over $300 million, which is just saying how popular this movie series is and how long it kept up with the popularity!  It amazes me, but then again this movie series is so full of exciting visuals, acting, sets, costumes, story, music that each film is a classic and this will be a movie series that will be remembered until the day the world ends.  I was one of the lucky ones who grew up with Potter, and many of us in that generation were lucky to have a rare movie series like this where we grew up with the characters (we literally watched them grow up along with us!)  This will be a movie series that becomes and is a classic and we will all show these films to our kids.  :)
